Transports if you want to get out of Lausanne...

A. If you want to get out of Lausanne...but stay in the Canton de Vaud:

They are serveral way to travel in the Canton de Vaud (mainly buses and trains). Just check the following map:

   1. If you already have a transporation ticket for the zones 11 and 12 (called GL for Grand Lausanne), just buy the number of zone(s) you need additionally. Check the previous map.
   2. If you haven't already a ticket for the zone 11 and 12 of Lausanne, logically buy a ticket for the destination you want.

B. If you want to get out of Lausanne... To go further than Canton de Vaud (Geneva, Bern, Fribourg, Neuchâtel, Canton du Valais,...):

Take the train from Lausanne Train station. For the schedules (and/or tickets) check the Swiss Train Compagny Website

   1. According to were you want to go, it's worth looking at the price of a daily card.
   2. They often have some discounts for special events or places. Check on their WEBSITE or at the station.
